Hi! I see that you're attending Ewha University, and that just so happens to be my current number 1 pick in colleges. If you don't mind, could you answer a couple of my questions? Are you a transfer student or a freshman? Was the application process long? Do you get to pick how many classes you take a semester? Did you get a scholarship? Were you alone when you first came? Did you have trouble getting around? Do the staff members speak English? If you can't answer these that's okay :)

Hi I’m going to do my best to answer these questions but I’m sorry if I don’t really make sense because I just woke up and I’m typing this on my phone still half-asleep :)

I’m going as a visiting student for a year so if you are thinking of going as a full time student then the process will be different.

The application process for me wasn’t really that long at all, I got accepted two days after I sent in my application to Ewha and got my all my paper work done pretty fast as well and was done by March except for the health form but that was because of the system here in Sweden. I do recommend however to be prepared at least a couple of months before and make sure that you know what documents you need to send in and so on. I had to do an online application so I also had to have all my documents scanned.

I get to pick how many classes I want to take. Ewha do however have a limit of at least 8 or 9 credits I think and a maximum of 18 credits. But in order for me to receive my financial aid here in Sweden I need to take at least 15 credits per semester in order to be considered a full time student because 15 credits is equivalent to 30 ECTS here in Sweden. And no scholarship for me, I’m paying for all of this with the money saved from all my part time jobs, financial aid and student loan.

I’m not in Korea yet so I can’t really tell you anything about that part but the staff at the global office should be able to speak English. All of their replies to me have been in English at least :)

Hiii I feel so embarrassed that I'm asking this but can you tell me how to say Yifan's name? I thought it was pronounced 'ee-fawn' but when I listened to the interview I heard 'yee-fawn' (this is based off of English pronounciation) Are either of them right?

Don't feel embarrassed!! The "yi" is similar to "yee" while the "fan" is more like "fun" but you have to alter the "u" to sound slightly like an "a." It's pretty hard to explain but it's just like the "han" in Luhan's name, so if you're familiar with how to say that in Chinese or Korean, then just substitute the "h" for a "f"~ Also, I made a post last year on how to pronounce China-line's names (there's an audio of me saying them at the end too), so you can check it our here if you're interested! ^^
