When asked "Who is your favorite NPC?" I might be a wee bit biased for the first two idiots Elis ever knew:
Odie was the person that found Elis and basically gave her a new home. She looks up to him and is grateful for the care he has provided. He, on the other hand, worries about her constantly like a tired dad.
Mikalis was last year's Tournament Champion, and is highly regarded as one of Shuffle City's strongest players. But, to be honest, he's kind of a dumbass with anything outside of cards. He's claimed Odie as his Rival and both have been close friends since.
