Fuck it, we'll call today Wacky Wednesday and double up on your comedy needs.  Click the heading to see Mike Herd of Xiao Xin Yi Yi fame do his first ever stand up set. Sorry for the zooming in and out. The light was dim and my camera is cheap and kept going out of focus. Only way to fix it is to zoom in and out like an idiot. Good night actually at Masse on a Monday night. 2 for 1 35RMB Asahi. The stand up only goes for an hour. Sadly, I was told that responding to questions directed at the audience was 'not how comedy works'. Ain't no time for crowd work. Got to ask rhetorical questions and stick to the script.  Here's what Mike said about his set: Last night went better than I expected. It really was my first time venturing into this-more recently I have been watching a lot of scots comedians like Frankie Boyle and Kevin Bridges and it was like, well why not! I didn't know how well it would be received cos Brits tend to poke fun at themselves and other people but I think I did ok!
