In the before times, I had the honor of being invited to brunch with these LA music legends. 2017 seems like only yesterday, but also eons ago. This morning the world lost of one those musical giants: pianist #MikeLang (pictured first seat on the right). Mike was not only a brilliant pianist and composer, but also a wonderful teacher and mentor. His playing was transcendent, beautiful, soulful, smart and full of groove. I loved hearing Mike play, as did any and everyone who had the chance to hear him. Rest In Peace, dear friend.
