also i just wanna say i am so endeared to all of your ocs every time i see them they make me smile and grin i love how silly you draw them all. esp the classic looking to the side screaming yelling sharp teeth expression. brings light & joy to my days

no, mikey lives on floor 0, ie the “human world” their older sibling brought them there, it’s loosely implied that their life was a little bad before in the dungeon. They weren’t hit or nothing they were just super unhappy. And they just wanted to start over. Mikey has 0 memories of this, it’s not a repressed memory thing it’s just that Mikey was a literal infant, their older sibling (who’s been renamed themself Daria when they first moved to the human floor, Dhemise isn’t exactly a human name) probably remembers more of it. They have human parents, there’s actually quite a few monsters on floor 0, more so hidden in plain sight. Their biological parents are both slimes, #slime fam, but their actual adoptive parents are human :) Chinese-American immigrants.

Jack… I think he’s ONE of the smartest and can easily read and understand people, I mean not really easily , but of all my characters probably is the few that can catch a hint. 🫆 BUT he can also hear the voices of swords and bladed objects so that’s gotta count for something. LOL.

Hahrima is intelligent in the mathematical sense but he can’t really understand people LOL. 🥺🥺 he is a stalker though he will follow you idk if that’s detective work but he watches you pretty often.

Mikey can stalk people easily, being a slime that can slide through doors and locks . They won’t though. They won’t. LOL.

sorry if this is a weird question but how does mikey eat things? in the one drawing the organ outlines are all visible so i’m guessing it’s not all the same type(?) of slime? or is it just an acid situation where things inside them dissolve

No they have bones and stuff, they do technically have a throat but they more so shove things inside them and “chew” which brings food towards their “throat”, I don’t think they really swallow they more so internally place food inside where they can begin to digest it.

what are your ocs' preferred modes of transport?

As in how do my characters like to get from place 2 place…? None of them have ever been on planes or trains heh.

I think May likes to walk home because they get headphone time in peace with physical movement so they can walk fast and get the song energy stimulation in peace without getting funny looks, a lot of the time their sister picks them up from school. In general they don’t love being in the car since when they try and look down at their stuff they get carsick— but they like their sister, so it’s ok. I think they’d like riding a bike for the same reason they like walking home, but they don’t use it because they get dropped off at school via car, at this point their bike is probably too small for them lol. They don’t like to take the bus, they get irritated and sweaty and uncomfortable on it, but they have to on day’s they’re with their mom, since she lives further up than her dad’s house… it’s probably a 2 hour walk and when they’re feeling already upset they just take the hike.

Mikey, does like their bike, for similar reasons to May. They like more so the physical activity aspect of it and listening to music or videos in peace. Mostly they’re a fan of finally putting down their things in the bike’s basket as an avid backpack hater. They live fairly close to school, closer than May at least. They like the rain too, so everything is fine.

Madison as a kid used to ride her bike everywhere. She don’t do it much anymore since it broke. She hates walking around though, she dreads it and starts dragging her feet and loudly complaining. She’s not a big fan of trips unless she’s with her buddies.

Max and Hahrima both have never been inside cars so they’re extremely wowed by the few times they get to be inside one.

Bylkaff and Miau both have never been inside cars either, but like Hahrima this is more so a monster thing since transporting PEOPLE is a very limited concept and the structure of most cities inside dungeon floors do not accommodate for vehicles. You won’t see many Monsters riding bikes, this isn’t unheard of though. Monsters do not have planes nor large scale boats, they have large scale trains though. None of them have been inside them; but the horizontal trains are the primary way of transporting around goods and people.
