KATOOMBA STREET ART WALK

Working in a variety of media, on pretty much any surface from paper to wall, Mike Maka, aka Mike Makatron, has been a member of the famed Australian Everfresh Studio for more than a decade and has painted around the world. Makatron describes his work as capturing a world where nature fights back to reclaim the earth from the advances of an uncaring civilization. For the Katoomba Street Art Walk organized by SAMA (Street Art Murals Australia), Makatron’s composition at Beverly Place and Waratah Street seems however to paint a far more positive picture where nature and an enlightened rainbow of all people and orientations are able to thrive together.
