finn and santana on christmas morning
He had been working on this morning for the last three months. He wanted everything to be perfect for him and Santana's first Christmas together.
Instead of rolling over and holding onto Finn when she woke, her hand draped lazily over a fuzzy bear. She peaked at it, and sat up. A note was pinned to the bear, and it read: 'i hang on the chimney, and im not for your feet. come find me, and another clue you'll meet.' A smile grin formed, as she left the bed to go her stocking, which was hanging on the wall, because they didn't have a fire place.
She plucked the tiny note out of her stocking, and read it aloud, "You're so smart, and you have stolen my heart. You're almost there, now go to were you stare.' She thought for a moment, and then went to her bathroom. There was a note wrote in her favorite shade of lipstick. 'One more letter, the longer the wait the better. Go to the tree, your present you will see.'
She walked back into the living room, and over to the tree. It wasn't huge, but Finn did a great job of decorating it. She smiled, "Finn?" She called out. There was no answer. She saw one last not pinned to the tree. She took it down, and opened it. It read: Santana, I love you, you know that right? All the times we laugh, and even when we fight. I would love you forever, I knew it when I found. Now Santana, turn around.' She turned slowly on her heel, and her eyes averted down. Her eyes began to bubble over with tears.
Finn was on one knee, and holding a ring box towards her. She was biting on her lip, trying to get the taste of salty tears from her mouth. "Will you marry me?" Finn asks a nervous smile on his face. She shakes her head happily, and replies yes. He slips the ring onto her finger, and scoops her up into his arms. This is no doubt the best Christmas ever.
