It was finally time for Kit to come back home and she couldn't wait. Not that the customers weren't nice that afternoon, but a part of her just wanted to be in her safe place and to forget about the whole world. Although the apartment might not be as peaceful as it used to be, with Mikey acting silly. Pushing the door and dropping her bag on the floor, she noticed that her roommate wasn't nearby. "Mikey?," she called, just to be sure. "Are you home?"
