stairways made from stone. croissants. the whistling of tracks just before you hear the train approach. big bodies of water. sitting in a small cafe, birds pecking at crumbs to your feet. tolkien's "roads go ever on". orange trees. poppies and bumblebees. the sunlight hitting just so. handprints on walls. a stage, all the props in place, but the play hasn't started yet - or it's already over. stopping to admire the scene. nice clothes and sturdy shoes. wildflowers growing through cracks in the asphalt. castle ruins, overlooking the landscape. essays and short stories that teach you new perspectives. the smell of spring. coffee-flavored chocolate.

I love trains! fave mode of transportation. reliable, eco friendly, chill, don't make me nauseous. perfect. of course in practice they are often less than ideal but the concept? perfect. we should invest so much more in public transport, it would be totally possible to make train travel as fast and convenient as driving your own car, esp over distances it already often is. just needs to be more affordable.

🌈 Do you have certain colours you gravitate towards when creating?

ik you said I don't have to answer but I'm gonna anyway because I realized the answer is: red and yellow (and orange). Which is weird because I do not like red and yellow. At least not the really bright fire engine red, and the true, sunlight/lemon yellow. Hurts my eyes. But they are nice colours when they are mixed w something else or otherwise muddied a tiny bit.

Or maybe I just feel like these turn up a lot because every time they do I think to myself "These again? We don't even like these!" XD

Ed - LOVE the clean shaven face, not a big fan of the sad panda makeup. But he's going through it and dramatic eyeliner is a part of that. That's valid. I just hope he didn't throw out all Stede's nice soap, that paint has got to clog up his pores something awful.

Stede - From a narrative standpoint, am love. From a purely aesthetic one, I'm gonna miss the fancy outfits. And the chance to assign significance to his colour palettes; I really liked looking at his costumes. There was always something interesting to see. And just. He looked very nice in them. Didn't he.

But like I said. From a character development perspective, it makes perfect sense and I'm not complaining.

Mint Choco Froyo: 3 things I’m proud of?I got my PhD funded, which I’m still in shock about, I haven’t dyed my hair in quite a while now (I had a problem man, an actual problem. Red hair is not my BFF) and also I made a pretty good 3-course Christmas dinner for 13 people and a cat so I think that’s pretty boss :3

Well, I took the MB test several times in the last years and I always got the very same result: INFJ. I know this stuff online is supposed to be more a game than something truly relevant on a psychological level, but I confess I often get scared on HOW MUCH of myself I can find in the INFJ type description. The only thing I don’t really get of the INFJ characterization is its most spiritual side, but I go pretty close to everything else listed in the descriptions you can read online.

So, even if the Myers Briggs online test shouldn’t be trusted scientifically it can still hit near home with me!:D

Ah, I have to say I am super relieved that there are also some dark shaded characters in this list. I am bored to death by the misconception that INFJ = so good almost a saint. Let me tell you: NO. Being deeply introvert (I oftent got the 88% level of introversion) and over sensitive, having a high empaty level and a good perception can make you a cynic and get your level of tolerance to others’ bullshit to drop extremely low (“I TOLD YOU THIS WOULD HAVE ENDED LIKE THAT… AND STILL YOU WON’T LISTEN TO ME! I AM SO DONE WITH THE UNIVERSE!!!” *this is me talking to the other myself, most of the time*). That’s the reason I really love when Loki is (rarely) included in those kind of lists (xxxx), ‘couse I think he is the perfect exemple of the good myth of the INFJ gone “wrong”: like empaty used not to help but to be manipulative and punch on others weakness, not being in the spotlight most of the time not to be a good modest counselor but to pull the treads in secret and cause all the possible damage, staying quiet about your own feelings to let them explode in the end and not in the good way.

And now I’m going to stop or I’ll start ranting about all the INFJ related stuff and all the characters on the list.

Also, I just got back from the UK and my english still sucks and I can’t stop embarassing myself trying to write nonsense, lol.
