If any of you are like me, you like art, and nothing is sweeter than getting a sneaker with some artwork on it. 2016 was easily Adidas’s year, and three days into 2017, it looks like Adidas is coming for this year as well. One of the main reasons Adidas has been so successful recently is because of their collaborations. Not to mention the trust they’ve put into streetwear brands to team up with them, making amazing pieces for us sneaker heads to enjoy. Adidas has now teamed up with MIKITYPE, who is a designer that specializes in Japanese calligraphy. As you can see, Adidas brought back the NMD City Sock, this time added MIKITYPE’S calligraphy on the EVA plugs and middle of the shoe. Although the shoes structure is pretty much identical to all the other city socks, it would be nice to be able to flex on your friends knowing you have the MIKITYPE edition City Sock. No release date has been put on this collaboration yet, but look for us to find out that information for you guys shortly. (Images from KicksonFire.com)

Taking classic Vans sneakers, Mikitype wrote the lyrics of a children’s alphabet song, hand-illustrated across the soles, top line and even laces of the shoes'
