A Silent Conversation
“Gagged, fed words that aren’t mine, face twisted into shape of acceptable smile, pushed into an arena with hedonistic revelers who won't accept anything else. Pigeon holed for merely trying to save my mind from incorporation into an impersonal body.”
A silent conversation is an exhibition featuring 3 artists who share very similar concerns of a marginalisation of voice: that many thoughts on the tip of their tongues are unheard and trampled underfoot by the established discourse; that nobody is taking in/absorbing the enormity of the issues confronting humanity in the 21st century, despite the shouts and screams within the artists’ work.
