Lae'zel "A good choice! Certainly this lady-warrior will compensate for any deficiencies you or I would have. Even if she is a tad...outré." (they're excited there's now someone who's going to get in the bad guys faces while they stand far, far away)

Wyll "What a charming young man. Lo, if I were as vigorous as him after the parasite, and still had the energy to hunt down a devil." (being around Wyll makes them feel extremely Old.)

Astarion "What? After he held a knife to your throat? Surely we can finder better companionship, even here on a shipwreck." (they're even more threatened by Astarion than Gale, especially with all the devil-on-your-shoulder he opens with)
