Happy setsubun day to you all~ I was very lucky to be in Japan during the setsubun festival, and I've also got the chance to visit sensoji during this time of the year. I ate my makizushi facing north-north west as I was told to cast away misfortune (hopefully). If the more you eat the more you get to avoid misfortune, I volunteer to eat for those who can't take it *heroic music playing in the background* Even better, I've also got my mikuji (the papers you get at temples where there is either a message or fortune or misfortune) telling me that happyness will come......in the future. "What do you mean by "future"? What do you mean by "you are going to be sad but then you will be happy"? How bad is that "sad"? How far is that "future"? Is it the future of my exam sessions or another? Anyway What sourprised me the most is that on the instractions to get your mikuji they said" even if you get misfortune, do not dispair, take you piece of papar at home with you, and work hard and be happy, cause it is up to you to make you happy" This, I think, is one of the best comment one could ever have in such occasions. You may receive the best mikuji about the most awesome lucky event you could ever imagine, but to achieve something means first of all to struggle to earn it. And even if life hasn't blessed you with fortune, carve it out on your own! Ok now I am getting far too philosophical so I'd better go to work and shut up Good evening everyone! またね,みんな!
