Last Sunday I went to visit my new skating friends at Mile 7. I didn’t meet Elton (he’s in one of my previous posts), but I met his trainer, Fidel. Fidel is a Gabonese national who moved to Ghana two years ago. When he arrived in Ghana he started skating under the mile 7 ‘overhead bridge.” After sometime he decided to train Ghanaian kids who were interested in skating so he formed the Eagles Skating Club, and since then he’s trained many children and adults who had interests in skating but didn’t know how to learn the sport.
