I’m working with a band mixing their debut EP, and in one song they’re using a sample of Goku prepping and shooting a kamehameha wave

This has led to me receiving hands down one of the funniest mix revision notes I have ever gotten from a client

I got to see my high school best friend and his parents last night and he was using “they” for me in front of his parents and after a few times his dad just turned to me and asked “is that what you prefer right now?”

Didn’t miss a beat, didn’t make a big deal out of it, just a simple question so that he could treat somebody he considers like an extra kid in his life the way I want to be treated. I didn’t know how much that would mean, to have somebody just notice and ask rather than me needing to “come out.” I feel so truly lucky right now to have people like this in my life

god i tried to stop it but my phone wouldn’t let me m, the new update looks so weird on mobile, i mean, i like the blue n the new font for text posts but the colours otherwise.... so shitty

i like being called miles but i feel like jasper fits more? i go by it irl because it’s not as stiffly masculine so people don’t question it, and i can just say jasper is my pen name since i’m a known writer around my school... maybe it’s because people don’t call me miles that often, but i’m starting to feel alienated from the name miles and it’s like i’m holding on to it less because i am a miles but more because i like the idea of it...
