Yet another order of Morning Iris, the signature drink for Iris & Eve, went out to a table nearby. Seafoam hues carefully watching from the distance at their enthusiastic reaction bringing a mirth illumination upon her overlay. It was peculiar, yet gratifying to know something she was trained to do could cause others a mirth expression. At least it was something she was able to make someone’s evening. Whilst the trance of her thoughts consumed her, the blonde proceeded on with her tasks behind the bar ─ stocking up the coolers of ice, wiping down the counters, taking out the glasses and stocking them back on the shelf. The evening was still young but the bar was slowing down. He expects me to share the tips with him when I do all of the heavy lifting,” she admitted in disdain to the other bartender. Waving a handoff at the daily rant about Schwartz, there were other important tasks at hand. “Anyway,” A hand leaning against the countertop for support, a small smile presented itself. “How did it all work out with Cleo? Did you tell her or did you come back here to some more advice?” Hiding the state of her being baffled at the fact people valued her advice, considering with her experience and knowledge with relationships were fleeting, never lasting longer than six months, a multitude of people felt the need to confide in her.
