What’s your middle name? 媛姗 (yuanshan). It’s not really my middle name nor is it my official name, I got it when my first younger sister was born who is called 雅媛 (yayuan). My parents wanted our name to have similar characters and now chinese acquaintances & family members use my chinese name. And btw, I’m the only one in my family to have a western name... i'm actually so nervous for this exam i need to take in a week. i applied for a japanese scholarship and finally got the email that said i passed preliminary screenings and now will take a qualifying exam and i'm soooo nervous i really wanna get that scholarship omfg
