"Well, maybe not weeks. But, like, at least ten days.”
She wasn’t exactly acquiescing; Lilo could be a very stubborn little girl when she wanted to be, and no way was she just gonna roll over and relent, especially on something like this where she knew that she was right. While her expression bordered on sympathetic, because she knew she’d hate such inactivity too if the roles were reversed, the way Lilo’s hands rested on her hips spoke clearly to the fact that she had no intention of being moved on this.
Stitch might be nigh-indestructible, and a fast healer, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t still get hurt in certain specific ways... as, indeed, he had been. Lilo worried for her friend.
And, perhaps naturally, that worry translated into this.
“Look, I know you heal quickly. But if you start doing strenuous activity too soon, you’re gonna pull the wound again; and then you’ll be right back to where you started. You’ve just got to be patient a few days, that’s all.”
Still, she couldn’t stay completely stern, at the sight of the look on Stitch’s face. Lilo racked her brain for a moment, looking for something that could help take the small alien’s mind off the waiting.
“But, you know what’ll help pass the time? Wasp Mummies non-stop movie marathon! I’ve even got all the tapes right here.”
