I've already written a ~similar~ concept for this for Colby (scheduled to be published in October!!) but, I've been itching to write a God of Death!Bucky fic. I've been bouncing between making it a retelling of the Hades and Persephone story (but that's too similar to the Colby fic lmao so I'd have to make a lot of changes to make it work) or doing something a little darker where the Reader was betrothed and set to be married to a different god but Bucky gets jealous and steals her away on her wedding day, and he forces her to marry him in the Underworld and never lets her see the light of day again :)
