oh yeah same ive known i was trans for a long time and im only just starting to read more deeply into it! this all rings very true in me. now that im dating a woman who is also trans im realizing a lot of truths about how i relate to my past girlhood and current trans self! its been incredibly healing but also pretty confusing. im glad im not alone.

that’s another thing no one talks about, how relational gender is and how changing gender and changing sexuality go hand in hand so often. there are so many people who’ve gone from being gay men to lesbians and vice versa, because being gay is an integral part of our genders...it’s definitely confusing but it helps me to remember that all of this is just us doing our best to deal with life in a language designed to eliminate us, and no term is ever going to correctly approximate our experiences, so we should just be free to have all the fun we can with the words we do have. positive gender nihilism!
