is syria where shes going, your friend? to "rescue" little brown mozlems like you want to "rescue" her? can you see the toxicity in this cycle? the imperialism? the "knowing whats best"? can you see that brown bodies will bleed and die? that a whole people will never recover, never have control for themselves. because /your people knew/ what was best? do not redeem the men and women who make these nightmares come true. they lost sight of their humanity many moons ago. sold it to an idea that ate their hearts. gave it up to enlist. or maybe had it drilled out of them in service. and i think maybe you have lost sight of your humanity too. but you arent going to restore it by pretending that youre helping people less "fortunate" than you who cant "analyize" things the way you do. ("its not their fault they dont know!!!") sympathizing with the devil does not redeem his acts. it only proves your humanity was lost long ago. and you feel it better spent on rehabilitating demons than loving yourself.
