Have you experienced the unique Pink Beds Loop trail?  This 5 mile loop is unlike any I have gotten to explore.  It is a high elevation mountain bog that rests in a relatively flat valley where the South Fork of the Mills River becomes one of the larger tributaries in the French Broad River system. This one of a kind place near Brevard, North Carolina is definitely worth a visit.

Tim grew up playing in a family band that focused on Old Time, so it isn't surprising to hear Tim name off Tommy Jarrell, Bob Wills, and Luke Smathers as some of his early influences. In college, Tim got acquainted with bluegrass, and cites Jason Carter, Jeremy Garrett, and Stuart Duncan as some of his contemporary favorites. When he isn't touring with UT, Tim is busy in his shop as master craftsman for Cedar Mountain Banjos, his open back and Old Time banjo company. CMB makes a great banjo, and was even featured in Garden and Gun Magazine! Tim enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and daughter, whether it is on a mountain hike, or visiting the Carolina Coast at Atlantic Beach.
