Dear Lina Kim,

Tonight will be the first night in months that I'll get to see you. It means so much more to me than you could ever know. I've missed you. I'm not completely sure if the feeling is mutual... You didn't seem to happy to hear from me.

I'm still confused, I still don't know what it is I did wrong. Even before you left, you seemed so... distant. Like you didn't want to be anywhere near me anymore. I tried, you know I did. I tried to talk to you, to get you to open up to me like you used to. We were so close. You used to tell me everything... Maybe it's my fault.

I fucked up, didn't I? I shouldn't have ever opened my mouth... Lina, I'm sorry.

Just so you know though, I'll always love you, even if you say no. I'll be here for you always. You're the best thing to me. I'm so glad I found you again, safe and sound. You left me worried sick, do you know that? One day you were here and the next you were leaving. Since that day, I was lost. It's all good now.

Milo stared down at the piece of paper in front of him. He had been sitting at his desk for hours, trying to figure out what to write. It still didn't seem like enough, but then again it seemed like way too much. He shook his head and crumpled it up before tossing it into the waste bin.
