Immature bald eagle. This big bird flew right by me three times while I was hiking in #Alaska's Shumagin Islands between swells. Many of our guests aboard #MiloSurfBoat think these are Golden Eagles. Just like the rest of us boys though, if they stay out of trouble long enough they'll earn their baldness. Interesting fact: the immature Eagles look larger often than adults because they have big training feathers. #creaturefeature
