Rule One- Always post the rules
Rule Two- Answer the questions the person who tagged you asked and write five new ones
Rule Three- Tag 5 people and link them to the post
Rule Four- Actually tell them you tagged them
1. What's something you're really good at (talent)?
Probably skim reading, and then retaining whatever I read. I never really studied in school, I just listened, read what we had to, and took tests that I scored well on.
2. What's your favorite song from Sing to Jehovah?
Song 134 See Yourself When All Is New
It's such a beautiful song with the lyrics very clear and full of hope. It was one of the first new songs that I memorized.
3.Do you want to have kids and if so how many? Names?
I would love to have children. I work around them all day, although I work with the older smellier ones. I love being around the young ones in the congregation. And I love babies. Not little newborns, I'm scared with them. And frankly even little ones that are not able to walk yet scare me a little. But once they start walking, talking and have definite personalities, I love them. With that said though, I don't think I would have children in this system. I couldn't bring a child into this world with all the cruelty in it. And worse still, just being born into the world is terrifying. I work with special needs, all of whom were born with genetic defects that has caused them to be handicapped physically or mentally. And with my brother diagnosed with autism and adhd, I couldn't live with myself if I had a child and they had to deal with those issues or worse. I'm happy to wait until the new system to have children. And in the meantime, the young ones in my congregation and neighboring congregations are all my nieces and nephews and baby brothers and sisters. And yeah, I do have lists of names picked out already. Mostly just girls: Abigail, Eleanor, Madeline, Jane, etc. I can't think of any boy names that I've thought would be good right at this moment.
4. Your favorite perfume?
Okay, so I kinda steal my sister's perfumes when I need something. Sooo, my favorite stolen perfume would have to be this tiny little sample she had. It was called Alien or something. I wish I had kept the bottle. It wasn't floral at all. (I think.) But it was clean. I'm going to have to look it up. But for everyday, I use a Victoria's Secret body spray called Fresh N Clean. It smells likes Apples and Lilies I think... Again, not very floral for a very clean smell.
5. What city would you like to live in the USA (not your own city)?
I have to say, I would be pretty hard pressed to permanently leave Long Beach. BUT if I HAD to move, I would probably go to Paso Robles/San Luis Obispo area. It's the central coast. It's wine country. It's breezy and cool and desert-like. It's close enough to Northern California and SoCal that I could probably take a daytrip to LA/Long Beach area and visit friends and family. Or take a daytrip to San Francisco for adventure. It's wine country. The ocean is right. there. Lots of reasons really, but mainly because it wouldn't take me away from the ocean and not too far away from the cultural diversity that I love about Long Beach.
1. Are you a dog- or cat-person? Or another kind of animal-person entirely?
2. Would you rather wash dishes or do laundry? And that includes everything, wash, dry, put away. Why?
3. What is your favorite time of the 24 hour day?
4. How do you take your coffee or tea? (eg, black coffee two sugars OR iced black tea with two pumps of peach syrup)
5. Do you have a favorite comic? Either comic book type of comic or comic strip in the newspaper.
