Since Milverton has a villa on the seaside, I sometimes imagine that he also goes there to swim. That case, Ruskin would hold an umbrella above him to protect his sensitive, pale skin from the sunlight.

Milverton doesn't have a canon birthday, but after Conan Doyle publishing the story on March 26th, I tend to celebrate it on that day.

Today I learned that the bird's name which preys on snakes is Secretary Bird in English. I associate the word secretary with Ruskin and snakes with Milverton. So this ended up being something like this in my mind.
I don't know if I laugh or cry, really 😅
People always forget that Sherliam is not the only ship in this fandom where one of them is canonically shown to be ready to die for the other. Ruskin doesn't care that he literally got caught on fire, he is so devastated for loosing Milverton.
Even after Milverton got defeated, he still didn't leave him like the bodyguards, but went after him, not caring if he dies or not. For him, Milverton was not someone despicable, neither just his boss. He was family.
