i’m not super big on like big holiday posts cause i don’t really celebrate traditional western holidays but as things around us are changing i just wanted to take a minute to thank a few people who have been especially important to me on here (not that the only time they need to be thanked is around the holidays cause i love them 24/7)
so first is linds ( @hotforhotchner11 ) since july/august you’ve literally taken on the role of the big sister i’ve always wanted and seem to know what’s going on in my head even before i know it myself. not to get overly sappy but if there was ever a reason that i couldn’t talk to you i would actually cry (and you know that’s true don’t even try to fight me on that)
i’d be toast if i didn’t mention @mystic-writings @sunny-pan-panics and @katrina765 who have been like my weird little family from the start when my blog only had 100 followers. we’ve laughed, cried, screamed and just over all had such a great time together and even though we don’t really interact on tumblr (but text like crazy) i’m so happy all of you are in my life and i can’t wait until i finally get to meet you all in person (as like the only internet friends my parents know exist 🧍♂️💀)
next is alex ( @arsonhotchner ) alex i don’t think i’ve met someone who is thoughtful, caring, talented and just all around goofy like you. your constant support and reminders to take a minute when i need it or even when you’re just another person to brainstorm with all have helped me get through the past few months. i’ve learned from your experience, and you’ve made me feel valid as a mixed kid (who’s half black) in a way not a lot of other people have before and i constantly reflect on that and remind myself how grateful and lucky i am to have you in my life.
and last but not least is meg <3 ( @ssahotchie ) girl every time i think about our friendship i think about those nights you’ve stayed up with me just talking about lord knows what. i think about how you pop into my head at random times and bring a smile to my face because you’re funny, sweet, and as alex and i always say the light of our lives. i’m grateful that we’ve been able to connect over deep and meaningful things that’s really strengthened our friendship because i feel like there’s another level of comfort and love and trust with you. you’re literally the best
and it wouldn’t go without saying all the other people who have been a huge support on tumblr and wonderful friends and i’ll tag a few of them too <3
