My part of a holiday art trade with my friend Mimkana, who writes the Could Be Worse KOBD fic :> [chapter this scene is from]
When I was listening to TAZ for the first time, the line that really got me was "I need you to murder Klaarg for me. And I know you're wondering, 'What's in it for me?' I've already told you this, it is Barry Bluejeans. I will give you Barry Bluejeans alive and well."
hehe, there are a lot of good moments X3
So, this might be impossible but are there any games that you know of that have characters with OCD?
The only one I know about for sure is Neverending Nightmares which is about the developer’s own struggles with both OCD and depression (he also has asthma and the character cannot run without getting out of breath).
ETA: I should have added that NEN is a horribly triggering game dealing with unreality, body horror, self-harm imagery, mental institutions and probably some other horrible things I’ve forgotten about.
I only looked at protagonists for my disability/disorders etc. list though and there are plenty of characters who can be described as being neurotic but not explicitly stated to have OCD.
Peps, please stay safe! I hope everything turns out alright!
? Is this about the fire, or the bad vibes?
Cause fire wise, I’m in a pretty save zone. Winds like what happened on sunday would need to pick up, and even then, they have forces on the ground already (though knowing who those forces are and how they are treated now makes me a bit... miffed. to say the least, but that is another post all together), so we will have plenty of warning.
As for the bad feels: it’s more of a temporary issue. sometimes passes in minutes, othes it takes hours. I just really need some professional help at this point is all.
STill, thank you very much. X3 it will turn out alright... just need some time to recoup and regain myself for the time being.
Are you excited for any of the new c17 tribes?
I am, would be more so once I have the cash to buy them... might be a while T3T
34, 52, and 82?
Okay, already answered 82 on @hazoretspartyfavors‘s ask (for those that don’t know it’s “82. Favorite type of cookie?” Short version: Milano)
34. Listening to?
Lots of thing, and nothing. Most of what I listen to is white noise. Lately, I’ve been bouncing around the same group of english covers of japanese tracks on youtube. At work, when I’m in dairy, I’ve been slowly getting through The Adventure Zone... There is more, but I can’t think of much by name. ^_^;
52. Do you think musicals are cheesy?
Yes? Like, that isn’t a generally argued point as far as I understand. It’s more whether that cheese is too much for you to get past to enjoy the show. For some, the cheese is just a result of the very method of story telling, for others its not just a part, but kinda the point. For yet others, they believe you can have a musical without the cheese, and ones that are cheese aren’t art.
or something like that. I have a lot of different friends with different opinions. My takeaway is that even if the subject matter isn’t cheesy (say like Hamilton), the actual fact of what a musical is is inherently cheesy. You got a whole cast singing stuff. LIke what?
NOOOOOOW, thing here to remember is ‘how much of it is singing’. If the whole thing is nothing but song, then it’s fine. It becomes more of the ‘brush’ to paint the picture with. The less songs and more actual dialogue, the more cheesy the music becomes.
SPECIAL NOTE: Most didn’t notice, but many disney films give up on being musical in any respect by the end of the second act in many cases. ... well more recently. Especially movies like Frozen. yeah, frozen doesn’t have a third act song.
Moana though? Not only does it have a third act song, it lands solid and true. It’s awesome. still gives me the chill shiver vibes with the tears and plucked heart strings. X3
Yo, thanks for the rec! Shu Yun is perfect for what I'm looking for! I can play Jori-en AND Narset! Thanks a bunch!
No problem! I’ve wanted to build a prowess deck with him for a while, so he seemed like the perfect answer for you!
Also, for one more recommendation, Niblis of Frost is a really good political card, that keeps down threats
Absol?
not my favorite │ average │ cute │ adorable │ best │ ultimate fave
I always love Absol but it holds a very special place due to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
