💡💡🤯 I could take the geography (and vague timeline) from Mimne and stick it into the larger, Sea of Japan esque setting (thus solving the resource issue and letting me conlang with up to 10 language families), then put that in the Muddy World (so I can ignore more distant geography) which would also allow me to get those fucking irishmen in there!

for Mimne, I was working under the assumption of 1 acre/person/year for food security, but if P.M.'s numbers here are more accurate, well... I might have to seriously rethink the geography a bit

fuckkkk, given that the "modern" time in Minme is a thousand years in our future, am I gonna have to account for axial precession and stellar proper motion??? interesting challenge for sure not gonna lie

*if they have observational sidereal astronomy, then they're gonna need to seriously adjust their zodiac heavily. I mean, we haven't updated ours in almost 2100 hundred years (which is why the "first point of Aries" is actually in Pisces). By their time, the Vernal Equinox is gonna happen in Aquarius!
