She's always kinda weary whenever something/someone's near her back. Just in general. If she senses something touching near her gem she just tends to jump a lil or get snappy in worse days.

She learned to feel more secure as she hung out more with Peridot and the CGs in general.

Also as Lapidot trash I wanna add that whenever she slept and got nightmares back in the barn Peridot would spoon her, basically protecting her gem. This helps her feel safe and relax.
