A blonde tottered across the busy showroom floor, carrying a handful of boutique boxes while struggling with a parade of thick, paper shopping bags biting down onto her pale wrists. She had an outrageously large hair bow to boot (was that the in-style look for girls these days?), but he figured he’d overlook it. A damsel in distress? Not on his watch!
