This morning I went to do a study. They slapped a cap on my head, hooked wires into it and onto my face. They pulled up numbers on a tv screen and had me focus on the specific numbers they called out. Then, they showed me three different commercials a few times(a Nike, Adidas, and FootLocker commercial). Finally, they handed me a number keyboard and told me to hit the number 0 every time I saw a blue frog. The hard part was to not let my mind wander. I wish I could know the results. Research is interesting to me, especially when it comes to the mind. I mainly did it for the experience, but getting paid $75 for 45 minutes of my time wasn't too shabby either.
