The Draconian prisoner from Mindgame Trilogy knows about German timekeeping or German Engineering? He’s waxing poetic to an audience of no one but that came up as a bit odd.
Oh it’s from the book he’s reading, that he’s been sent by sortaAce but he has no context for it.
If I had a penny for every time Ace McShane who wasnt really Ace McShane slowly faded into nothingness while whispering “wicked” I’d have two pennies which isnt a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened twice
They rlly sat Sophie Aldred in a chair for 20 mins and said ok do whatever the fuck

MINDGAME LEGACY TO BE RELEASED IN 2023 TO CELEBRATE THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF DOCTOR WHO!
Reeltime Pictures will be releasing its brand-new reimagining of the MINDGAME story in the Autumn of next year - to help celebrate the 60th anniversary of DOCTOR WHO!
We will be turning the original rushes into a five-part series ... with new SFX and animations by ROB RITCHIE and sound design by ALISTAIR LOCK. Producer and Director KEITH BARNFATHER says, "I've always felt the original productions didn't quite mesh and wanted to go back and re-sculpt it. The chance has now arrived ... and this new production will really maximise the production values. Colourist SARA BUXTON (who worked on SIL AND THE DEVIL SEEDS OF ARODOR) will be upscaling the rushes to HD ... so it will look fantastic!"

MINDGAME REQUIEM - A NEW IMAGINING OF A CLASSIC STORY!
(Or Mindgame - Ep. 4: A New Dawn. LOL!)
"So, what's the point of rehashing Mindgame and Mindgame Trilogy" you might ask?
Well I'll tell you! Firstly, it's not a rehash, it's a reimagining!
I'm pretty satisfied with all Reeltime's other drama output and I'm not a great believer in "Director's Cuts", etc. BUT, even when we made them, I wasn't totally happy with MG or MGT ... especially MG, as I felt the SFX we managed to achieve just weren't good enough. Even MGT has some elements (like the titles and grading) that I felt were pulling the production down. Also, neither production had a proper sound design/music mix.
That, alone, might not have pushed me to revisit them ... but David J Howe's novelisation made me realise the scripts themselves have anomalies that I'd like to correct.(By the way, if you haven't read it yet, I'd highly recommend: https://telos.co.uk/.../telos.../mindgame-special-edition/)
So I blackmailed a team of experts (what a team!); David J Howe (Script Consultant), Chris Thompson (VFX), Sara Buxton (Grading), Alistair Lock (Sound Design/Music), Sophie Aldred (a bit of revised voiceover) and am about to start reimagining the story.
In this definitive version, we're turning the story into a five-part drama series. New titles, VFX, upscaled to HD, sound design and storyline to really bring it all together. Not sure how long it'll all take, but I'd hope we can get it out by the Summer!
Stay tuned and I'll keep you up to date!
