A BATTLE HAD been won. Apparently. — She hadn’t been anywhere near it, finding herself disoriented in the middle of New York. Throngs of people were out, running around, waiting for HEROS to return home. Home. There had been a battle upstate: that had been all she’d been told. But she had been pushing through the crowd of people, watching as reunions happened left and right. When she finally got up to where the colorfully-clad others were standing, she began to call out.
“I’m looking for my brother.”
No one turned toward her.
“My brother,” she tried again, grabbing the shoulder of a SHIELD agent, but they shrugged away from her. “James Barnes.” Her voice began to grow, not really caring who heard her.
“Are you damned serious right now? Tell me where he is!”
