Yui had to admit that it was strange to meet the former remnants of despair and being utterly surrounded by ulitmates however she didn’t let it bother her. 

After all, she was capable of doing her own things even if she wasn’t the help at it and her jumping with her powerful legs which meant she could get into places that normal people can’t.

The old detective decided to approach the swordswoman and introduce herself. It was best for her to get know her allies and who she would be working with... And if she recall correctly the others name was ‘Peko Pekoyama’.

“Umm... Excuse me but you’re name is Pekoyama-san, right? My name is Samidare Yui and as you can tell... We will be working together so I figure we might as well to get know each other.”

Be brave, Peko. Do the thing you want to do. You can do this. Just going to... lean over... and quickly smooch his cheek while he's enthusiastically talking about something. He's so cute when he's all happy and smiling and talking passionately. :mind-of-a-tool-heart-of-a-girl

🐺– ‘‘...and when I turned around, the crab was still there, so I moved very slowly and... bam! I got it! Well... Almost, but I definitively caught it in the second try! When I grabbed it and stood back up, I realized there was a huuuge site full of crabs, and-- E- eh?’‘

Welp- He’s taken aback a little with the sudden display of affection, but the look on her eyes somehow explained everything. It didn’t take much for the wolfman to start wagging his tail like crazy, ears lowered in a shy way. ‘’U- Uhm...’’ 

Oops, now he can’t stop grinning like an idiot, so does so and nuzzles her cheek, letting out an enamoured chuckle. The fact that she had taken him off guard made him happy though. It was nice to see she felt bold enough to seek for affection like this.

🐺– For once in his life, Hinata found, through introspection, that he was just ... way too smitten with Peko. They both were conscious of their attraction, but in Hinata’s case, it was different. After all, during the simulation, she didn’t reciprocate his feelings... which was okay, but... after so long, it seemed like it all had changed. Of course, that was okay as well. What wasn’t ‘okay’ was the fact that reliving an ‘old’ love had gotten him and his courting cycles in a mess. He really didn’t want to suffocate her with constant attention, but at the same time, he really wanted to -almost literally- make a mountain of rocks and shells, build the biggest love nest ever created by (wolf)man and give it all to her. Just thinking of her made his tail hurt from wagging it so much, damn it-

Speaking of which, upon turning his head he saw her walk in his direction. ...Aaaand he’s lost it. He ran down the dune and approached the shore, only to return to where Peko now was (probably looking at him with confusion) and get on his knees in front of her, offering her the prettiest shells she had found.

‘‘...H- Hello’‘, he said, clearing his throat a bit.

Peko slipped out of bed and crept into the bathroom, quietly closing the door behind her before her legs collapsed beneath her. She leaned her back against the door, hands over her mouth to muffle her shallow breaths as she squeezed her eyes shut against the onslaught of memories. - mind-of-a-tool-heart-of-a-girl ((we have a thread of Peko having a good day. How's about Peko having a bad day~?))

🐺🌞– Hinata soundly slept beside his mate, breathing calmly as he sank in the mix of their body warmths. He saw his sleep undisturbed until his hands didn’t feel Peko next to him, which slowly but surely made him open his eyes. He had a moment to take in the atmosphere - perhaps she had gone to fetch some water for herself? Or maybe just needed to go to the bathroom? It seemed like the latter option, though soon his ears caught up on something that... wasn’t right. They twitched and detected low sobs and breaths, which made him look in the bathroom’s direction. 

He silently got out of bed and transformed into his wolf form, his clawed paws making slight noise as he crawled in the bathroom’s direction. He gently scratched the door before it moved, allowing him to peek his snout and eventually his head in. He usually transformed whenever he felt Peko was upset, since she loved fluffy animals and found the touch of their fur comforting. 

‘‘H- Hey, Peko... I’m here. We can talk about it if you want.’‘ He nuzzled her face, sitting down beside her.

"I'm... not sure. I was just curious I suppose." Peko replied slowly and calmly. Though her slight blush gave away her embarrassment and her eyes kept flickering to the now slightly darker patch of skin on her mate's neck. : mind-of-a-tool-heart-of-a-girl

...Okay that had sounded raunchier than he had intended. He cleared his throat and tried not to send his mind to the gutter.

‘‘W- Well, uh... I’m just happy you feel safe enough with me to do that? Here...’‘

He leaned closer to her, but ultimately nuzzled her face instead of doing the same to her neck. He had planned to but then decided it wouldn’t be a good idea... for some reason. Perhaps him being concerned about invading her personal space.

🐺🌞– As a matter of fact, this was a very bold move coming from Pekoyama. And a demostration of their trust to put it simply. It was rare for an Alpha wolf to let about anyone near their necks, but Hinata felt okay with the swordswoman doing it. What he didn’t expect was to receive a gentle suckle instead of a bite -- something that caused him to gently tap his foot for a second in surprise, his tail and fur puffing up a little.

‘‘Ah-- Wh... What was that for?’‘, he gently asked.
