i’m sorry but i’d like to argue that Grian is actually pretty loyal is just that his team always fall apart on it’s own OR their left as the last one standing so he has to betray them for a win
in third life he was loyal to scar even after he lost his green life, in last life the Southerners fell apart and they betrayed him so he betrayed them back, in Double Life…i can’t defend him there something was going on in double life that fucked up both scar and grian, in limited life he was VERY loyal to the bad boys, in secret life he was also very loyal to the roomies, wild life those mfers died way before the finale and allies are very vital to winning (unless your scar somehow), and past life he betrayed Gem because he thought it was the final showdown.
so no i’d argue grian isn’t as unloyal as people say. he just sees most allyships as like transactional instead of yk real allies. maybe not the most loyal but certainly not someone you can’t trust
