Minescape, runescape recreated in Minecraft, is now entering open beta!

This rendition of the game stays as true to the original as possible while in Minecraft! Runescape veterans will still enjoy turn-based actions/combat (while in first person) and will recognize all the old skills of runescape in Minescape!

Wanna level up your firemaking or smithing? You can!

Wanna fight monsters with swords, bows or magic? You can do that too and much more!

The world of Minescape is beautifully crafted not just with mechanics that are true to the original, but plenty of custom 3D/2D models and custom plugins are made to truly bring it to life. 

Minescape is a love letter to runescape, made by runescape veterans for all to enjoy!

Hello folks! Today is the opening of the Spire Network Minecraft server in which I’m going to be involved with!

For now they have a few minigames and a survival server, but very soon they’ll also release their runescape inspired game called Minescape!

NERDCRAFTERS!

At the beginning of this month's mineworld, I found a beautiful savannah area right at the edge of the map, with a floating island and a moat with it's own island and lots of horses.  I made a waterfall, started a little house and was really hoping someone else would discover it. 

Now it's near the end of the month, I am still the only one in the savannah and it's still mostly untouched!   My house never materialised.. So for the last week, I have lit the whole area and it's open to all if you to build and celebrate this month's mineworld.  

Go to /warp temple and have a look.  

Normal rules apply (please don't grief), but if possible, also make it easy for others to build next to you or attached to your build.  It would be awesome to have a hodgepodge castle or something from everyone's contributions.

Two other requests 1. Don't use any blocks that are too expensive.  You place them at your own risk! 2. Don't fill in the moat.  Bridges are much more cool and I am in love with the moat... Have fun! (PS.. Er I hope it’s OK to do this mods - let me know if not)
