#2831 - Coprosma crassifolia - Mikimiki
ANOTHER species of Coprosma, and like half the other ones also called mingimingi or mikimiki.
This shrub is found on both islands, usually east of the ranges, except in Northland where it grows anywhere suitable. Common in coastal rocky and sandy lowland to lower montane shrubland and forest, up to about 600 m. The berry is translucent and holds a white seed spread by skinks and birds.
