The Mini Cooper D got a set of Rota RB 16x8’s today shod with Avon 205/50x16”. Loving these wheels as remind me of the classic Mini favorite the Minilite.

The Alfa has gone, long live the next Mini. An R56 2012 Cooper D. I wasn’t looking for another mini and definitely not a diesel but this car was at our local Mini dealer who we know well, very low miles and great condition and it wasn’t much more spend over the sell price of the Alfa so here it is. Work done so far, spots, rear parking sensors, phone holder and carpets.

Fahrbericht: Mini im Cooper D zum ersten Mal mit neuem DSG (Doppelkupplungsgetriebe) Mini Fünftürer mit Diesel und DSG Endlich verbauen die Briten mit den Deutschen Eigentümern in ihren Cooper D ein Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (DSG oder englisch DCT abgekürzt).

Die Familie des neuen MINI wächst weiter. Neben der Diesel-Variante MINI Cooper D kommt nun noch ein neuer MINI Cooper SD als stärkste Dieselvariante dazu, sowie das neue Einstiegs-Benzinmotormodell MINI One First. Insgesamt stehen für das im britischen MINI Werk Oxford produzierte Modell nun sieben Antriebseinheiten zur Verfügung, vier Otto- und drei Dieselmotoren, die allesamt vollständig neu entwickelt wurden.

Der neue MINI Cooper SD wird vom stärksten jemals für Fahrzeuge der Marke verfügbaren Dieselmotor angetrieben. Der 2,0 Liter grosse Vierzylinder erzeugt eine Höchstleistung von 125 kW/170 PS. Aktuell darf ich den “normalen” MINI Cooper D Probe fahren. Die Zugkraft bei der Anfahrt kommt beim normalen Diesel relativ spät, wie das halt so bei Diesel üblich ist, und war für mich schon eine grössere Umstellung von einem MINI Cooper S auf MINI Cooper D. Beim MINI Cooper SD ändert das wieder, denn der Spurt von null auf 100 km/h wird in 7,3 Sekunden erreicht. Nicht ganz so schnell wie beim MINI Cooper S, aber dennoch beachtlich, insbesondere für einen Diesel. Vielleicht darf ich dann noch einen direkten Vergleich mit dem MINI Cooper SD persönlich machen.

Was ist euch lieber? Benzin oder Diesel?

★ Salman Khan shows interest in getting a Mini Cooper !

Latest buzz is that Salman Khan is showing interest in getting the latest edition of Mini Cooper D countryman. If sources are to be believed, the hunky star has asked for a trial but the car won’t be delivered to him and he has booked it for someone else.

  A source reveals, “Salman recently showed interest in a getting the Mini Cooper and has also asked for a trial. But he has not booked it for himself. The delivery might happen in 2-3 days but not at his address.”

  Salman already owns a Salman has Audi Q7 and Q8 and a Land cruiser in his garage. There have been loads of comparisons made between Salman and Bollywood’s Baadshah on who has a better collection. The actor has always been in the news for his link ups, affairs, break ups and fascination for cars. But the question is, if the car is not for him then who is it for?

Mini Cooper D 어느 주말, 생뚱맞은 후방추돌로 내 차가 A/S에 들어가면서 대차로 받아온 차. Cooper S 혹은 Convertible이었더라면 더 재미나게 타고 놀 수 있었을텐데. 그래도 이것도 충분히 즐거웠다. 밟으면 밟는데로. 아쉬움없이 나가주었고, 비좁은 골목길을 요리조리. 길을 잘못들더라도 어려움없이 턴해서 돌아나올 수 있고. 주차도 부담없고. 이모저모 꽤나 만족스러웠던 차. 하지만 행여나 구매하게 된다면 가솔린의 S 버전. 그리고 반드시 세컨카여야만 한다는 점엔 유념해야 할 그런 '펀 카' www.thisiscarblog.com
