The funniest part of Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week being immediately after Valentine’s Day is that games will have Valentines events that carry over into ASAW and Oh Boy. Am I Aware Of My Aromanticism.
Had a Nightmare(?) Involving Brawl Stars a Couple Days Ago
TLDR: normal brawl ball match goes wrong due to a malicious entity showing up.

The nightmare part is in question because I do not recall being particularly frightened during the dream. it was at most the type of panic and desperation one might feel when trying to defend a point with useless randoms.
The dream started out relatively normal. I loaded into an early access game, and the mode it picked was brawl ball(Triple Dribble). my team just made absolutely terrible picks, including me. Which doesn’t end up mattering a whole lot because they get retconned into nonexistence . anyway the initial picks were Mina(p8), Pam(p1), and Leon(me, p8? buffied gadget)((no idea why my dream self would do that)). The enemy team had Frank(Caveman), Meg(Martyr), and Brock(RGB Hacker); all likely p11, but they had bot like behaviors.
We load into the game and the dream skips around a bit throughout the match. Pam ceases to exist shortly after the game starts. Mina is still there until the enemy team attempt to score the first time, at which point she is replaced by Lilac Cookie. Lilac Cookie is 2D like the Rude Lou skin, but he isn’t animated like Rude Lou is, he’s just a png moving around that changes sprite sometimes. Lilac Cookie makes a very Edgar-like move and jumps to attack an enemy while the Meg walks the ball into the goal. I’m literally only doing 4 dmg per shuriken hit, although the enemy’s health bars respond as if the dmg is more than that so idk. Anyway the Meg scores. Pam still doesn’t exist when the player positions are reset, and Lilac turns into Black Sapphire Cookie; who isn’t quite a png like Lilac, but only still reads as Black Sapphire because of the brain’s habit of just kinda knowing what things are in dreams. the deam skips a bit and now the enemy team is clumped up and is moving the ball to our goal. Both of my teammates are nowhere to be found as I desperately try to keep them back. none of the enemy team attack during this.
Then the player positions reset like someone scored a goal, but none had been made. also I’m playing in first person now, and the field is covered in thick fog. The textures of the map are no longer that of Brawl Stars but one of those PS1 style indie horror games. or like Silent Hill i guess. I use my super and am allowed to move before I’m supposed to. I move to where the enemy team should be. The only thing there is a towering figure, solid black except for the whites of its eyes. I move behind it and it suddenly transforms into some sort of evil magical girl version of Cream Soda Cookie. Small black pillars appear throughout the map. the dream skips again and I’m cowering in one of the goals, throwing attacks out into the fog trying to keep what ever that thing is from scoring.
I wake up and I’m in my kitchen, leaning against the fridge. I think “boy, Reddit will love this one.” I look at the oven clock and it’s a little after 12. In the family room my mother and my great aunt are talking about something. I open my notes app and start to type. I write half a sentence and it has 15 typos.
I wake up for realsies in my bed. it’s 4:50 AM. I stare at the ceiling.
Hate it when I get into a media and then one of the characters has similar mannerisms to me. Voicelines that blend perfectly into my vocabulary.
it’s happened, like, twice,, And its ALWAYS some guy that I want to kill with hammers every time they do anything. my stupid baka liiiiiiiiiiffee *head in hands*
That post about doing weird stuff at a wine tasting to see if you can trick people into looking ridiculous is so real. At a cheese tasting and I looked up to see someone else at my table mimicking my cheese-tasting techniques (sniffing the cheese before eating it and washing it down with a cracker palette cleanser).
You ever get too many compliments on a specific garment you’re wearing and start getting scared that there is a Meaning attached to it? I got like 5 compliments on my Kirumi beanie while wandering around a mall and I got A Little Fearful.
