You turn around to face him. A weird expression formed on your face as you thought of something to say back. A disgusting feeling formed in your stomach. Like an endless pit that couldn't be full.

He brought you here to buy you whatever you wanted and now he's rushing you. What type of woman does he think you are?

"Ryo..." You whined, pushing away from him as you made the distance between the both of you larger. "You came here to spoil me. Do it."

"Baby..." Sukuna sighed sternly before pausing. He closed the gap between you two and shifted his hand up to your face.

"What's have gotten you angry today?" He asked softly, pushing the curly ends of your afro out of your face.

You looked up at him. You didn't want to tell him what's been gnawing at you every since you heard the news. You stared into his eyes, his looked concerned while yours looked annoyed. It wasn't abnormal for you to have an attitude around him. He in fact like that little attitude you showed him. He liked putting you in your place. But today was different. But today was diffierent. The news of him going on a business trip for weeks on end made you weak. Not being able to see or hear from your husband made your face churn into a nasty frown.

You tried to not make the frown noticeable. But you know how Sukuna is. If he can tell you are happy over something small even if you dont show it, he can definitely tell is something is wrong. You couldn't keep secrets from him.

"You'll be gone for a few weeks. I'll be alone in the-"

"Ah- that's what has my girl all upset." Sukuna mumbled.

He then pulled you into a tight hug, kissing the side of your face until your makeup is a little messed up. Pepper like kissing scattered across your face as the pink hair man tried to cheer you up.

"My chocolate bunny is all upset about me leaving? It's okay. I'll make sure to call you every night." He hummed.

Nonetheless, those words didn't fill the hole that was in your stomach.

Sukuna noticed it immediately. Placing his hand on your lower back and guiding you out of the store.

"It’s okay, we'll go home and relax together. Maybe take a bath..."

The pepper kisses turned more bold the further you walked to the mall exit. You only giggle under the touch as you made your way to the parking lot. The sun hit your brown skin just right that made it seem like you are glowing. And that was one thing Sukuna loved about you. He looked up and down you body slowly, making sure no sadness or anger was forming back up in your body.

He was going to make sure you have the best time of your life before be leaves later today.

I do have a Shanks story where Shanks goes berserk at Elbaph because his pregnant wife’s on his ship and she’s like… ‘It was a scratch. Quit picking on kids.’

The cannon fired.

The recoil hit the Red Force like a shuddering punch, a tremor that ran through the ship’s bones and vibrated all the way down into the keel. It wasn’t a direct hit—just a shockwave—but it was enough to make your tea slosh and the book you’d been reading slide off the bedside shelf.

You frowned. “That better not have been—”

The ship swayed again.

And against every lecture, every order, and every ridiculous sit down, you’re growing our child declaration Shanks had thrown your way for the past three months, you got up.

He felt it the second you stepped out onto the deck.

Shanks was in the middle of issuing death via glare from the prow of the ship—Haki boiling off him in a warning so thick it singed the air—when he sensed your presence behind him. Not just you, but you standing. Out in the open. While an idiot with a cannon tried to pick a fight with a Yonko.

He turned around slowly.

You gave him a flat look. “I felt that.”

He blinked. “You’re—why are you up? Why are you outside?”

“Because your enemy apparently has no respect for maritime physics or basic common sense. You said I’d be safe—”

“You were safe. In our quarters. Sitting down. With six men posted at the door and an emergency escape pod under the bed.”

“Shanks.”

He stomped across the deck, his sword still dripping seawater, and gently ushered you back like the entire war wasn’t still happening around you. His voice dropped to a furious whisper. “You’re not supposed to leave if you hear cannon fire. You’re not supposed to even know there was cannon fire!”

You raised an eyebrow. “You’re literally glowing with Conqueror’s Haki right now. You rattled the windows.”

“Good! You should be afraid to leave your seat—that’s the point!” He pulled off his cloak with one hand and wrapped it around your shoulders like it was a force field. “You don’t come out when a man’s trying to kill me.”

You snorted. “Was he trying to make a statement?”

“Oh, he made a statement.” Shanks turned back toward the edge of the deck, where Kid’s ship was already listing heavily. “It said, ‘Please destroy me and everyone I’ve ever met, preferably before dinner.’”

You sighed, turning to go back inside. “Sweetheart. Next time—less glowing, more reassuring. The baby kicked from the stress.”

Shanks froze. Slowly turned. Then sprinted back, crouching in front of you.

“…Did—?” he asked, wide-eyed. “Are you both okay?”

You patted his hair. “We’re fine. A little dramatic. Wonder who they got that from.”

Benn, watching from a distance, chuckled around his cigarette. “Looks like those kids finally unlocked the Captain’s fatherly instincts.”

Shanks didn’t hear him. He was too busy pressing a reverent kiss to your stomach and mumbling promises of domination and total safety under his flag.

“I’ll take down the sun if it even looks at you wrong.”

Hi, so I was watching HTTYD (the first one) again, and I noticed something that had slipped past me for all these years.

Hiccup's pants have really crude stitch marks on the sides of them. And I'm going off the fact that he was making his own "outfits" (flying suits, harnesses, saddles, etc.) and I'm assuming he did the stitch job, and then I got to thinking, "Who taught him how to sew?" It wasn't his mother, since she was taken when he was a baby, and it couldn't be Stoick, since he's busy with Chiefly duties, so that brought me to the choice that honestly should've been obvious from the start.

Gobber. And yeah, he's Gobber's apprentice, but stay with me for a moment.

Imagine: a young Hiccup Haddock being bullied and pushed around. He's shoved to the ground and not only did he skin his knee, but he also tore his pants. The other Viking kids are laughing and pointing. UNTIL GOBBER IS RUNNING AT THEM WITH SOME KIND OF THREATENING GIZMO FOR A PROSTHETIC HAND. They all scramble, and while Gobber is yelling, "GO ON, GET!", Hiccup is sniffling and trying to wipe away his tears.

He doesn't want Gobber to think of him as weak like everyone else does. But Gobber doesn't say anything about his tears, he tuts at the torn pant leg and hoists the boy in the air.

"Never too young to learn how to mend things. Have I ever told you the story of when I had to mend my pants after a Gronkle set them on fire?"

Hiccup shakes his head.

"Well, I'll tell you all about it! See, I had to mend them while they were STILL on fire! I'll show you all the techniques and stitch jobs. Your pants will be too strong to rip, and then those bullies will be the ones who are embarrassed!"

....And now I'm fucking crying.

OH! As for the whole abel selling his siblings deal. Caine was SOOOO mad that he literally said the word grounded THREE TIMES and list of a bunch of things he’s grounded from including a lot of VERY strange (yet mostly harmless) stuff that no normal family would ground their kids from but the caine family is NOT a normal family and abel is NOT a normal child so caine literally grounds him from shit like ‘collecting snake fangs’,‘dorodango-ing (the art of polishing literal dirt)’, ‘disc golfing (golfing literal CDs)’, ‘bone carving’, ‘[insert any professional job a literal child shouldn’t be doing]’, ‘seeing into the forth dimension’, ‘no clipping’, ‘quantum physics’, etc etc.

I also imagine rags is there too (she told on abel) and she’s just like ‘wtf are even half of these things???????’ and ‘EWWWWWW!!’ for the strange hobbies she knows.

Here’s how I imagine it going (this is after rags woke him via ringing the doorbell many times in a panic):

Ragitha: “Um…. Mr. Caine..?”

Caine: “*Yawn* Yes my curious cloud…”

Ragitha: “Uh….. abel…. um……. he’s kinda… uhhhh….. selling his siblings……”

Caine (softly this time): “Could you repeat that my lingering lamb..?”

Ragitha: “HESSELLINGHISBROTHERS!!”

(Bro immediately WAKES)

Caine: “HE WHAT?!”

Ragitha: “He’s uh-“

Caine: “No no! You don’t need to repeat yourself… I already know.”

Then he mutters to himself as he zooms off to abel.

Ragitha then hears Abel receive an absolute earful from caine (the teeth god is NOT a quiet man) and she hears the normal stuff that you’re grounded from (no TV, no video games, no going outside for a day, going to his room, no hobbies, etc) but also the REALLY strange hobbies and activities that abel and the caine family participate in and she’s just like ‘wtf????’ and later told kinger all of this and he’s just like ‘Yep, that’s definitely a caine fam thing’ but then reminds Ragitha that ‘every family is different… even if they’re a bit strange to you or me’ and she accepts that even though she’s still lowkey scared of abel.
