I try to! She definitely has her own ideas re: how her art should look though, so often I just watch while she creates. :)

@lilydragonwrites also sent me an Ask requesting I handwrite a little story. Is it a cop-out if I instead post an awesome little story mini-Jeeno recently wrote with her friends that stars a grouchy turkey who likes chasing butterflies? It’s better than anything I could ever do. ;)

Deep Thoughts for A New Year

Mini-Jeeno: (stalling at bedtime). Mommy? Are all living things meat?

Jeeno:.... um. I guess? Sort of?

Mini-Jeeno: Wow.

Jeeno:....

Mini-Jeeno: Even lions? Are lions meat?

Jeeno: ....

Mini-Jeeno: Are they?

Jeeno:... I? ... Guess?

There should be a law where they have to be babies for a whole lot longer than they are.  This is so rough on Mr. Jeeno and me, too.

Cutest thing mini jeeno has done lately?

So — she’s obsessed with Mario Kart lately.  But she’ll only play as Princess Peach, and she’ll only play while wearing a “princess dress” so that she matches.

(This is either a “cute mini-Jeeno” story or a “Jeeno is a terrible mother for letting her 5 year old play Mario Kart” story — take your pick)
