I recently had a discussion with one of my sisters and she said something that stuck with me. She said that God can answer a prayer like that (insert finger snap) and because He answered, we wouldn’t even care if it felt like forever for it to be answered. Even if it took YEARS for it to come to pass, we’d just celebrate the fact that He answered! 🤯 My sis got wisdom and she’s absolutely right. At any moment, God can respond to something you’ve worried about, lost sleep over, stressed over, and cried over. God can answer that prayer that you may have even stopped asking about because you just gave up faith that God would ever come through. So what should you do in the waiting? Keep the faith. People LOVE saying, “walk by faith, not by sight.” But it’s a whole different ball game when you’re walking by faith, day by day, year by year and feeling like your prayers are falling on death ears. I feel that way often. Most days I feel like my prayers don’t push past the ceiling. Faith though… have faith that God hears you. Have faith that if God can create the freakin’ Universe with just with His Words, He can resurrect every dead dream, create something from nothing in your life, and can still answer a prayer in an instant. Hey, if God can ensure Sarah old self could get pregnant by Abraham, made David successful against a giant, get animals on Noah’s boat, and ensure a virgin birthed the Savior of the world, He can do anything. NOTHING is impossible with God.
