Heinrich Dressel - Space Wave Shaft (incl. Ma Spaventi versions) [Slow Motion Records]
Loved this one instantly. Takes me to the era of the rise of science fiction space-themed movies, as well as the era of the rise of synths. I could enjoy it in a dance club as much as I would do in an exhibition space or any kind or size of venue, at home, in bed, any place, any time. Has pretty much everything. Heinrich Dressel, alternatively, Minimal Rome co-founder, delivers a dreamy, sleazy space-funk piece of music with a light touch across expansive musical horizons in such a delicate manner, while Ma Spaventi delivers Disco and Chill interpretations of the first track.
Slow Motion, founded in 2009, brings Italian electronic producers together for the purpose of elevating the Italian dance music at all latitudes, whilst remaining true to the heritage and feels of the vibe that has filled dance floors for the last 30 years. It has an international sister label, Wrong Era.
