Back in the hunt. Hunting for satisfaction through digging and learning. And back to completing the infinite puzzle. One piece at a time.

Ghosts Of My Life: Writings on Depression, Hauntology and Lost Futures by Mark Fisher brought me here. It is a collection of writings arguing that we are haunted by futurs that failed to happen. He searches for the traces of these lost futurs in the work of David Peace, John Le Carre, Christopher Nolan, Joy Division, Burial and many others.

Apparently, Hauntology, a philosophical term at first place, gave its name to a music genre capturing all that it entails.
