Hello hi, just wanted to pop in n ask a few things I’ve been using your Little Radiance skin for a bit now and hOLY CRAP ITS PEAKKK, i was making stupid lore about it for fun about how it was the radiance going back in time to warn itself about the oncoming threat (timeline shit made it weaker) or smthn n stuff, but along the way actually became attached to the people of hallownest and realized its the problem yada yada
that was BEFORE I SAW THE ACTUAL RADIANCE FIGHT??? Bro i rolled up with my friend and saw the pale king and was like HUHHH WHAT so i had to go back and actually reread the dialogue with the characters and holy shit this mod is amazing
I Saw flying nosk and js wanted to come in and ask, is there like lore for LR? I’d love to hear what the actual lore is for him because I read all that you wrote into the game but id love to know if you had anything more, favorite skin by far btw this is amazing

Essentially the lore for Little Radiance is that Radiance used her infection to put a fragment of herself into one of the infected bugs that is roaming Hollownest. Once she had a strong enough hold on the mind of a random infected bug, her fragment burst out of it and entered Hallownest to begin working on breaking down the locks that chain her. The infection recognizes her as its source, and the infected bugs are drawn to her not out of desire to destroy, but out of a desperate need to rejoin her light (This is hinted at with they altered infected Myla dialogue). The infected bugs do not understand that destroying the vessel Radiance has made for the realm outside of dreams is not helpful. As for the pale beings, the Pale King knew his binding was failing and entered the realm of dreams to act as the final barrier. To stop her at all costs from breaking free and unleashing her true power. Both Hornet and the White Lady know that the Pale King is the only force strong enough to defeat the fragment of Radiance, so they do not bar her way from him, with the hope that he will be able to lock the fragment up too.
By defeating the pale king and the Hollow Knight, Radiance breaks her chains and is free to unleash her plague upon all who remain in Hollownest. If she only defeats the Hollow Knight, the Pale King is able to trap her in the black egg until the fragment sputters out and her chains remain.
Then there are the godhome endings, which maybe one day when/if I finally animate them, people can theorize what they mean.
Oh and the reason flying nosk is Grimm is because Radiance and Grimm are siblings. She is Dream and he is Nightmare. They are not allies, they each are very much doing their own thing, but there is still some part of her that acknowledges him as something that was once important to her.
