One of the most surprising things about Alasaka for us was that there are relatively few "off-road" trails as most wilderness travel is primarily done by plane, boat, or snow machine. But... we did find one very interesting trail near Hatcher Pass that was an absolute blast to wheel. With the recent rains we lost count of water crossings and in fact, the trail itself seems to have become a stream over time and it wasn't long before the locker button was called into service. It felt good after the marathon runs along the Dempster, Dalton, and Denali "highways" to be aired way down and crawling in 4-low. What did we find at the end if the trail?
