Hi, first off, thanks a bunch for all you guys do. It helps me find my favorite type of fics whenever I want them. I wanted to know if there are fics where steve and Bucky are in HS & are dating but keeping it a secret bc one of them is popular and the other isn’t? I looked through the secret relationship tag but could only find them famous not in HS. Thanks so much again. ❤️
Love Run*by PinkGold (complete |32,599| T) *polyamory
Run to show that love’s worth running to
Steve Rogers: the schools's sweetheart. Captain of the football team of SHIELD'S High School.
Bucky Barnes: school's punk. Sassy mouth, sassy friends.
Tony Stark: new student, the smartest in the room.
Steve and Bucky date, although no one knows about it. It's better that way, anyways. It's said punks and jocks don't mix, it would be a mess if their relationship got out.
New student Tony Stark, though, he changes a few things around.
Coming Back Home*by vias_words (WIP |32,750| T) *chose not to warn, check the tags
Bucky wasn't too thrilled about moving from Russia back to his hometown in America for his senior year. All of his old friends had changed and grown apart. Even his childhood best friend, Steve Rogers, was a totally new person, no longer the scrawny little boy Bucky once knew. Now he's a popular jock, not to mention extremely attractive.
Now Bucky is known as "the Russian kid" and hangs out with the unpopular crowd. He would have rather stayed in Russia. But when a connection with the hottest girl in school gets him back in touch with his old friend, he starts to like being back in America a bit more.
Dealing with making new friends, bullies, drunken mistakes, homophobia, and stereotypes, Bucky's year is anything but drama free.
Secrets of the Upperclass by vias_words (WIP |14,542| M)
Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers grew up in the spotlight. As sons of famous political figures and a CEO of a large company, they have been in the limelight all their lives.
They are expected to be perfect, like their fathers and mothers, and stay away from bad press. Forced to pretend everything is fine when it really isn't and be someone they are not. Stripped of freedom and expression. You would think it would get easier as time goes on, but it only gets harder.
Especially when the two boys develop feelings for each other...
