Coming to his apartment late at night was probably one of her worst ideas ever. Cherié for one was an engaged woman who was pregnant. If the paparazzi ever caught her here, this would end up into one big scandal... Yet, she rationalized that she and Minjae have been known by the public to be close childhood friends. What were the chances of the scandal being that bad anyways?
Cherié anxiously stood from one foot to another as she knocked on his door. The thought of that happening from months ago kept coming back in her mind over and over again. She had a gut feeling that Minjae suspected but, she needed to squash that suspicion.
“Minjae!” Cherié called out to him, impatient as always she was. “Hurry up, I’m freezing out here!” She said, shivering from the temperature outside.
