Looking for a study partner
hey there! I’m studying Japanese, and I’ve come to realise I’m just too lazy to do it alone :( I never manage to motivate myself, making barely any progress.
I used to study japanese up to an advanced level some years ago, but as other things came up I was too busy to keep up and therefore dropped to a I’d say lower intermediate?
Anyway I’m trying to find someone who would like to revise grammar, vocabulary and kanji with me, possibly do some exercises or just do some practice-dialogues, sort of like a tandem? I’m trying to revise everything starting from chapter 1 in my book, but I still know all the basics, sentence structure, quite some grammar, etc, so I think I’d be a suitable “teacher” to explain things.
- I’d prefer a Beginner or someone who is not that far ahead, because I really want to start with the very basics
- I can supply study material, if needed
- I’m German, so if you speak german too that’s great! I also speak english so that’s not a problem (I’m mostly using german study-material though) Only the time difference might be a problem if you’re not in Europe.
- You should already know how to read and write kana (I’ve been reading kana for 8 years now, so revising them again really would make no sense to me sorry.)
- We can get together on facebook, skype, whatsapp, line or email (whatever is most convenient), but only by written messages. I’m a little anxious when it comes to voice chats, I’m really sorry :( I might make a new tumblr-blog to upload lessons and exercises as well.
- We don’t have to me mutuals, strangers are welcome :D
If you’re interested to study together please send me a message :D
PS: I’m 26 years old, so if you’re a minor and uncomfortable with that, hereby be warned :D
PPS: I don’t really expect to get any response, but in the highly unlikely case, that more than one person is interested, idk yet how many I could manage?
